This is one fantastic tool, and if you do not believe me look at reviews over the web such as [....]. The nails MUST be high quality such as Senco. I had some jam in this gun because the were an off brand I tried to use as I ran out of the Senco DA type I use. I use the Paslode yellow short fuel can. I can even over-drive in hard wood if I want. Not sure what was wrong with the other user's review tool, could be a few things, most likely the fuel is old[none is included, have to check the date code on the can], or the nails are jamming because they are not like quality 15 ga SencoDA's, or the wrong type/gauge such as "UA "or Bostich angle which look similar but are not for this gun. This is an excellent design, well made in Taiwan, not China[wish it was made in USA].Balance is excellent. Makes other battery only guns look like framers, at about 4#'s it is great for use overhead and on ladders, clip can be used to hang gun easily. This is so lightweight and precise I hardly use my many other air nailers. The 16 ga. straight Paslode I have, never gets used now, much larger,no angle, heavier, balance nowhere as good. The battery last a very long time and is low cost to replace unlike the other expensive higher voltage guns. The bonus screwdriver is nice for small , light work such as electrical. The molded case has extra room and hold gas cans too.The complaints are minor. The nose cover does not stay on the storage stud, falls off easily and the door on the gas cover…

I bought this finish nailer for convience. Have 9 Hitachi N65 pnumatic finish nailers and they are the best all around period. So, I figured I'd stick with Hitachi for cordless.Received the gun and charged both batteries. put in a battery and fuel cell.Tried to shoot gun...nothing!! Frustrating because I was going to use it on the job that day. Took it by my certified repair center friend. He looked at it and shook his head...right off the bat said they weren't as reliable as Paslode. He tried another fuel cell...nothing!! NO noise, fan, nothing. Its too bad Hitachidissappointed me with this nailer... UPS is picking it up tomm. I am still looking for a cordless nailer and am leaning towards a Paslode

Includes Fusion F-15, 18V Cordless 15 Gauge 2-1/2-in Angled Finish Nailer - 5N0001N, Li-ion Battery, Battery Charger, Case
This nailer keeps pace with what I want to do (trim work) and detach's me from the cords. I am impressed with the fit and finish of the gun. The case well that's a different matter. Arrived well packaged but still had three supports broken inside. Contacted Senco and was told to call the seller and they don't have the case's available, if I needed a case it would take MONTHS. I'll live with it but not what I expected. Case * Nailer *****

The Hitachi Side-Load Roofing Nailer's magazine, depth of drive and bullet-proof design make it the perfect nailer to handle any jobsite condition. The NV45AB2 is ideal for various construction applications such as the installation of asphalt roofing shingles and the installation of insulation boards. Operating PSI: 70 - 120, Fasteners Used: Roofing nails, Fastener Sizes (in.): 7/8 - 1 3/4, Fastener Size (gauge): .120, Fastener Capacity Per Strip: 120, Adjustable Depth Control: Yes (tool-less), Coil or Strip: Coil, Inlet Size (in.): 3/8, Case Included: No, Tool Length (in.): 9 27/32, Tool Weight (lbs.): 5.5
After extensive research I chose the Hitachi roofing nailer and was not at all disappointed. The nailer proved to perform excellent under all conditions. No matter how fast I went it did not misfire or jam. The only time I did have a problem was when I went to use it for the first time. After it was "broke in" it performed excellent. My roofing contractor said that he would buy it from me whenever I wish to sell it (he had to try it out also). I am very satisfied with the purchase I made and have no buyers remorse on this item.

The Hitachi Framing Nailer drives paper collated nails from 2in. up to 3 1/2in. long. At only 7.5 lbs., the NR90AEPR is easy to use all day while still providing the power of heavier, bulkier nailers. This nailer can be used for floor and framing, truss build-up, window build-up, subflooring, roof decking, wall sheathing and housing construction. Air Consumption (CFM): .09 at 100 PSI, Operating PSI: 70 - 120, Fasteners Used: Framing nails, Fastener Sizes (in.): 2 - 3 1/2, Fastener Size (gauge): .113 - .148, Fastener Capacity Per Strip: 64 @ .131, Adjustable Depth Control: Yes (tool-less), Coil or Strip: Strip, Case Included: No, Tool Length (in.): 20.8, Tool Weight (lbs.): 7.5
My 1st Porter Cable FR350 lasted about 8 houses then leaked, I rebuilt it, leaked in 1 week. 2nd PC FR350 lasted less than 2 houses now leaks (trigger piston again?)Just bought the NR90ADPR. I really like it; a bit smaller and maybe better balanced than the PC. What's amazing is almost no recoil, and makes almost no more noise than a roofing nailer, hard to believe that little pop is driving a 16. The Porter Cable seems more powerful(?) - noise/recoil, but this gun homes a 3.25" nail just fine. Love the depth set of course. If it still works in 3 years it gets 5 stars. I like the pointed nose piece more than the round one on the PC, easier to toenail. No rubber bumper tip for flush nailing/finish, but how would it fit on the pointed nose? I also like that it does not have a quick detach magazine to clear jambs like Senco & PC After a few years the magazine can slip down (carrying/holding by magazine) and misfires. So you need a wrench to pull the magazine but it doesn't slip - . For $182 I'm one happy camper.

The Hitachi Full Round Head Framing Nailer with Depth Adjustment is used for floor and wall framing, truss build-up, window build-up, construction of subflooring and roof decking, wall sheathing, and mobile home and modular house construction. Operating PSI: 70 - 120, Fasteners Used: Round head nails, Fastener Sizes (in.): 2 - 3 1/4, Fastener Size (gauge): 113 - .131, Fastener Capacity Per Strip: 64 - 70, Adjustable Depth Control: Yes (tool-less), Coil or Strip: Strip, Inlet Size (in.): 3/8, Case Included: No, Tool Length (in.): 21 13/16, Tool Weight (lbs.): 7.9
We're building a new home and during the framing stage I watched the framers use this gun all day long, day after day with no problems. When I asked them how they liked it, they said they would not use any other gun but this one. We're nearing the end of construction and I decided to tackle the rear deck myself (lots of money to be saved in doing so). I decided to take the plunge and buy my first pneumatic nail gun. I'm not a professional builder, but, I can tell you I do love this Hitachi framer. In fact, I'm so excited about it that I've ordered additional nailers and a stapler to put in my dream shop which is going up at the same time as the house. Actually, the shop is finished - something my sweet wife reminds me of each time we visit the building site. I keep telling her "We just have to maintian our priorities!"

The Makita AN901 framing coil nailer is definitely the most powerful nailer in its class. The built-in ceramic air filter system prevents debris from entering the tool, extending tool life and reducing down time. The 9 quick-dial depth adjustment settings give you precise control of nail depth. Easy-to-load canister holds 1 3/4in. to 3 1/2in. coil framing nails, and the non-slip nose is the ideal shape for diagonal nailing. Operating PSI: 65 - 120, Fasteners Used: Framing nails, Fastener Sizes (in.): 1 3/4 - 3 1/2, Fastener Capacity Per Strip: 100 - 300, Adjustable Depth Control: Yes, Coil or Strip: Coil, Inlet Size (in.): 1/4, Min. The Hitachi NV75AG is a terrific coil nailer. Because it shoots sheathing thru framing nails the 75AG could be the only framing nailer in your toolbox. The real advantage of this gun is the (lack of) weight. Compared to any gun that will do the same, this gun is light. It may seem a little heavy when it's loaded with a full coil of 3" framing nails but it's not long before the coil gets shorter and then the gun is really nice to use. Everything about the 75AG is well designed and manufactured. Hitachi simply makes the best nail guns. I have owned and still own, Senco, Paslode, Makita, DeWalt and Max guns and I'm convinced Hitachi is the best. If I had to get down to just one it would be the NV75AG, the most versatile and comfortable gun I have used.

I agree with the other reviewers who have given praise to this product. I felt the same way till mine broke after less than a months use.Of course it was the compressor which broke, the part with the 90 day warranty. I did not catch that when I bought this.Senco is a good company, but I think this little compressor is not quite up to the quality of their other products. In my case it was the 1/4" copper tubing which brings the air to the tank that failed. It split where the tubing had been bent.I have fixed it with some liquid steel, since I'm on a job with it, I'm hoping the repair lasts till I have time to replace to tubing.I have used this to build two large bookcase and cabinet projects so far, and in doing so I have learned the compressors limitations. It does not do wellshooting two inch nails into MDF. It does not have the power to fully sink the nail into the material. I bought this combo for the light weightof the compressor, so I guess there must be some compromises. This won't take the place of more powerful compressors, but it is great for carrying to and from a job. I just hope I do not have problems with it in the future. I'm not sure I wouldrecommend this product, the 90 day warranty on the compressor is a big negative. especially since it seems to have some problems.
